🏴‍☠️ Pirate Pride!
We would like to congratulate our entire Math 24 Team as well as 7th grader, Mason Dillon, who qualified as one of the top 8 for 7th & 8th graders and who proudly represented SMS at the County Math 24 Competition held on Friday, March 13 at the Garrettsville YMCA. The tournament was certainly eventful—with strong winds outside and even a brief power outage during the competition—but students showed incredible perseverance as they continued solving challenging math problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. We are proud of the hard work, focus, and willingness to compete among some of the best young mathematicians in the county. Great job representing Southeast Middle School—we are proud of you! ⚓
