Southeast MS and HS have started TWO coffee carts—one in our Middle School and one in our High School! “Captain Cup” coffee cart provides meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for students with disabilities and learning challenges helping them build important life and job skills such as communication skills, social interaction, money management, budgeting, occupational therapy, and more. Students prepare made-to-order coffee for teachers and staff (only), allowing them to practice real-world skills in a supportive environment. Look at those smiles from our exceptional students during our soft launch yesterday! Thank you to our staff and our coordinator, Christina Hemberger for helping to get this started and for the many donations that were received to make this happen! We are truly blessed to have such strong community support at Southeast Schools!
