Southeast Middle School

SMS students attended grade level behavior expectation meetings to review new changes in the student handbook along with other areas our building is working to improve. Our School Resource Officer, Deputy Eric Noel, was part of the discussion reminding students about our zero tolerance policy on threats and why joking about guns, bombs, hit-lists, or bringing any weapons into school is not appropriate talk and why we will take any perceived threat to the highest level. Please remind your child that these are not things to be discussed, mentioned or joked about and continue to have discussions at home about what kind of talk is appropriate.
