Welcome back to our amazing students and outstanding staff members. The first part of the school year has gone very smoothly thanks to our impressive student leaders in each building who have modeled the proper behavior and expectations (The Pirate Way) for our other students. I believe school spirit and student involvement are good indicators of the overall health of a school district. That being said, we have over 200 students participating in a fall sport in grades 7-12 and an additional 200 students participating in our bands and choirs this fall. We also have over two dozen after-school curricular clubs that are full of student participants. We continue to have a lot of student opportunities for a school our size yet we are able to maintain our small school feel. If your child is not currently participating in a club or activity, please encourage them to get involved moving forward as studies show that it will improve their overall attendance, grades, and connection to the school.
