Yellow Folders: All students in grades K, 1, and 2 will receive a bright yellow plastic folder this year. Please look for this item nightly. It contains important information from your child's teacher.
Paperwork and Contact Information: Please be sure to contact the school office as soon as possible if your telephone or other information changes at any time this year.
Morning drop off/Afternoon pick up: Please take note of the following morning and afternoon transportation details. Attention to these details will make for an orderly and safe drop-off/pick-up at school.
School Busses: School bus transportation is offered to all students residing in the Southeast Local School District. To reduce the number of vehicles entering and exiting school property we highly recommend the use of school bus transportation.
Car Riders: In the event that using school transportation is not possible, please be sure to follow these guidelines and share them with anyone who might be transporting your student to or from school.
1. Morning Drop Off: Vehicles bringing children to school must use the west driveway (next to the Administration Building). Students may not be dropped off in the front lot as this area is reserved for school busses. Staff members will be at the back door to receive children starting at 8:35. Children may not be dropped off earlier than 8:35 am.
2. Afternoon Pick Up after 3:15 pm (Car Rider List): A note from a parent/legal guardian is required to have a child placed on the car rider list. The note should state the child's name, the date, the teacher's name, and who will be picking the child up after school.
a. Drivers should use the west driveway and form one line for afternoon pickup. Drivers are urged to arrive no earlier than 3:20 pm.
b. Drivers must have photo identification with them when picking students up at school. A staff member will check identification and ask the driver to sign the child out.
Southeast Local Schools takes your child's safety very seriously. That is why these procedures have been developed. If you have any questions or concerns you may contact your school's principal.
