News from Southeast High School
From the desk of Mr. Dunn

It is unbelievable, but the school year is already half over. We reached

day 100 of the school year on Tuesday, February 3. Our Seniors who

started their schooling career with 2,340 days of school are now down to

less than 70. Our Juniors are just a few months shy of becoming Seniors

and taking over the leadership role in the building. Our Sophomores are

growing closer to becoming the veterans and having half of their high

school experience completed. Our Freshmen are counting the days until

they have finished their transition into high school and probably their

most difficult year of high school. Our winter sports teams finish up

their regular seasons during February and our spring sports are in full

swing by the start of March. We are scheduling all students in February

for their classes for next year, so please take a look at the scheduling

materials so that you can have some input in their scheduling options

and choices. March signifies an important time for our Sophomores as

they take the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT). To increase our Sophomores

chances for success, we are offering after school tutoring
 starting February 23-March 11.

 As we move through the
second part of the school year please remember that we appreciate

parent
involvement and understand the importance of parent involvement in the

educational process so please do not hesitate to communicate with me or

a staff member if you have any concerns.  A couple important upcoming dates and meetings are listed

below:
