News from Southeast High School
From the desk of Mr. Dunn

April and May is a time for endings and beginnings: it is an exciting yet also sad portion of the year.  Everyone is excited about the upcoming summer break, but the reality that we are losing another Senior class is here.  We are proud of our Seniors and will miss having them around.  We wish them luck and to quote Billy Ray Cyrus "you are at the starting line of the rest of your lives, ready as you will ever be."   I feel strongly that the Junior class is ready and capable of taking over the leadership role in the building and I am eager to see the mark they leave on SHS.  Although the students are looking forward to summer break, this is a critical time since fall eligibility is dependent on the fourth nine weeks and final exams can play a huge factor in students' final averages.  I hope your family has enjoyed the 2014-15 school year as much as I have. Thank you for all of your support.  Have an enjoyable and safe summer break!
