Message

Dear Parents:
Recently, the schools have had many students buying lunch when they have no money in their account. It is important to us to provide a lunch to your child when they run out of money.

Beginning on August 1, 2017 a change in lunch charges will take
place.

1. A student will be allowed to charge a regular lunch up to two
times when their account is out of money.

2. If a student does not repay the money owed the child will receive a supplemental lunch.

3. We also send out low balance letters home with children k-5th and will
give a courtesy call to all grades.

Please note: as a parent you have the option of placing a restriction on the account so that a child cannot purchase extras. (Please call food service at 330-654-1939).

If your child has a life threatening allergy or disability related to food. You must obtain a medical note from a licensed physician that describes the child’s condition or allergy and prescribes a substitution. If not life threatening the Food Service Department will make every effort to accommodate for food allergies. Must submit in writing a note from either the parent or a medical authority that describes the child’s condition and that they are requesting a substitute.

If your family has a financial hardship, or your income has changed, you are always welcome to apply for free or reduced price meals anytime during the school year. Applications are available in your school office or from the food service office.

We now have payforit for on line lunch payments.

Thank you,

Denise Torres
Food Service Supervisor
